Direct Deposit

What is Direct Deposit?
Direct Deposit to your prepaid card lets employers or the government automatically deposit your pay or benefits directly into your Direct® Vision Visa® Prepaid Card account. The electronic payments are reliable, secure, and available as soon as they're deposited. The best part is, there's no more standing in line or paying fees to cash your check.
Am I eligible for Direct Deposit?
Most employers and government benefit providers offer Direct Deposit as a method to receive your pay, but check with them first. Next, when you sign up for a Direct Vision Visa Prepaid Card, just give them either the voided check that came with your card in the mail, download the Direct Deposit form, or call 1-866-630-2503 for a form to get started.
When will Direct Deposits start on my Card Account?
After you confirm that the convenience of Direct Deposit is available through your employer or benefits provider, you can either give them the voided check that came with your Direct Vision Card, download the Direct Deposit form or call 1-866-630-2503 for a form. Next, it generally takes 1 to 2 pay periods for Direct Deposit to become active in your prepaid account. Your money is safe and protected by the Visa Zero Liability policy.
When will my money be available on my prepaid card?
If you have enrolled for Direct Deposit on your Direct Vision Visa Prepaid Card, your money is immediately available on your payday, ready for you to pay bills, shop, or transfer to another card. The Direct Vision Card is safe, convenient, and gives you freedom from standing in line to cash a check!
How do I know if money was deposited to my Direct Vision Visa Prepaid Card account?
Access your Direct Vision Card account online 24 hours a day at www.directvisioncard.com. After you log in to your account, you can check your balance and view your spending. Even better, sign up to receive your balance information through our free SMS text alert service, sent to your cell phone or email.
If I change jobs, can I restart Direct Deposit?
Absolutely. To restart Direct Deposit on your Direct Vision Visa Prepaid Card, just fill out a new Direct Deposit form and give it to your new employer. The Direct Deposits from your previous job will automatically stop.
Can I use Direct Deposit for one-time deposits?
Yes. Funds from your Federal or State income tax refund or other one-time payments from institutions can be deposited directly onto your Direct Vision Visa Prepaid Card. It's easy – just provide the institution with your prepaid account information on your Direct Deposit form, or you can access this information by logging in to your online account.
